Dopplr that way cool trip-sharing social media resource just got way more powerful this morning with the addition of some major new functionality. Now users of Dopplr can kepp their networks up to date through Facebook, Flickr or Gmail. Simply setup your Dopplr configuration to search out your contacts from other popular social networking resournces (LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter, flickr, etc. ..) and then you can choose to share your trips with your friends.

The more people you share with tours on Dopplr, the more useful it becomes. Reading your feedback (see sidebar for ways to get in touch with us), we are often asked for more ways to expand your social network and make sure that your friends and colleagues are with you on Dopplr. For a long time, we have offered the ability to locate and invite travelers over the network as LinkedIn, Yahoo Mail or Facebook. But using one of these import duties is a one-time process and requires you to go back and check back often.
No longer! We have just introduced something very simple that we call social networks subscription. Simply select the network you want to check on people you already know, and Dopplr will scan them once a week and offers you a list of your regular e-mail alert.
Easy ways to add tours and get your data in Dopplr:
Social networking subscription: get notified when contacts from other social network Dopplr participate.
Warble: Add trips to Dopplr by sending messages from twitter.
E-mail: Add trips to Dopplr by sending us e-mail.
Calendars and events: Add tours automatically from your Web-based calendar or Yahoo! Upcoming.
Sharing photos: Show your Flickr photos on your trip pages.
