What is StumbleUpon?
Social Bookmarking sites like Digg and Del.ico.us are an excellent method of obtaining large amounts of traffic in a short space of time, but the concept of StumbleUpon is slightly different. StumbleUpon has over one million users, and generally refers less (but still significant) the amount of traffic at a rate more consistent, that sites like Digg can send thousands of visits within a few days to promote stories made the FrontPage.

How to increase traffic StumbleUpon?
The main methods which I found to improve StumbleUpon traffic were:

* Category Websites
With the involvement of the community and the classification of certain websites helps me to visit my website appear to StumbleUpon users who have interests similar to mine, then will be more likely to rate my site with a thumbs up! StumbleUpon is time-based, although not to the same extent as Digg, which means more votes can be achieved in a short period of time more traffic you will receive.

* Adding friends
With the addition of friends is to increase the amount of people who will see your new web pages, which makes them more likely to give your site the thumbs up.
