IPV6 have fitures and the advantages is not had by IPv4.Some fitur is:
Multicast : more flexible than broadcast, give ability to deliver a group of host. One of the application is to broadcasting video to a group of user able to be distributed passing some site.
Anycast : give ability to deliver to a group accepting is member (node) one of the group proximate, if failure will be delivered to other node which is his distance relative close to before node and so on.
Path MTU Discovery : make host to study the maximum package measureable to be delivered without existence of fragmentation so that will improve the transmission efficiency.
